Veterinarians Challenge the Government to Put a Stop to Vaccine Overdosing

Dr. John Robb, DVM is a veterinarian with 34 years of experience who has a practice located in Connecticut. He went in front of officials in the health department to speak about the problem with vaccine overdosing and the negative effect it has on domestic pets.

He stated, as an experienced and licensed veterinarian who has treated thousands of pets over the years, that animals are experiencing terrible reactions due to over-vaccinating!

Once Dr. Robb saw for himself that family pets and animals are being over-vaccinated and experiencing health issues, he decided it was time to do something to stop the problem by bringing it to the attention of officials in the health department.

Currently, there are no rules as to how many times a veterinarian can vaccinate pets for the same disease. This means if a pet owner comes to the office to request vaccinations for their dog the veterinarian is required to do so.

A common issue is veterinarians are required to provide every animal with the same dosage amount regardless of their size. This means that veterinarians around the country are providing the same full dosage as required by law to a 5-pound cat as well as a 100-pound dog. Obviously, the dosage amount is either going to be too much for the cat or not enough for the dog. Either way, it is not healthy for either animal to receive the same dosage.

Research shows a full dose vaccination of any kind is dangerous and potentially lethal.

Common vaccinations for dogs include:

  • CDV - Canine distemper

  • CPV 2 - canine parvovirus 2

  • CAV - canine adenovirus

  • Rabies

  • Distemper

  • Canine hepatitis

  • Bordetella

  • Borrelia burgdorferi

  • Leptospira bacteria

  • Bronchiseptica

Signs Your Dog has Been Over Vaccinated

  • Loss of appetite

  • Fever

  • Sluggishness

  • Hives

  • Paw swelling

  • Facial swelling

  • Diarrhea

  • Vomiting

  • Swelling or pain around the injection site

  • Seizures

  • Difficulty breathing

  • Anaphylactic shock

  • Collapse

One of the main reasons veterinarians are being forced to give dogs the same dosage regardless of size is due to manufacturer's dosage recommendations. Veterinarians like Dr. John Robb, DVM are fighting for the rights of animals to receive the proper dosage.

While many veterinarians within the United States and worldwide are bringing this important issue to the attention of officials in the health department they are unfortunately being laughed at and taunted by the same officials that have the power to make a change and save thousands of animals lives. Instead, while Dr. Robb was presenting his case in front of officials one of the officials said they don't believe what he is saying while at the same time laughing at him. The other official wasn’t any better as she continued to be preoccupied with her cell phone and not paying attention to the information being provided.

While veterinarians will continue to fight for what is right for animals, pet owners are seeking alternative ways to treat their dogs by visiting holistic veterinarians that provide natural and effective ways to help keep their dog healthy throughout their lifetime.

We recommend holistic care for your animals as we are Natural Rearing Breeders. If you’d like to speak more about this issues, please feel free to reach out to us. Our number is 407-245-7350.
